The worlds only 4 channel/track transcription software that can isolate separate channels and it made specifically for the Martel Courtroom Recorder packages.  The transcription software allows you to listen to all 4 channels at once or individual channels separately. The transcription software is delivered on a CD and has 2 separate licenses. We have to state that this is simple software and you won't have to read a manual to use it. Install and go. Channel separation for use in courtroom recorders

For over 25 years now most court rooms have used a 4 track audio recording System. The systems were manufactured buy Sony and Lanier.  Both of these audio recorders, used for separate channels, so the judge, The witness, the prosecutor, the defense attorney what all are on their own audio tracks. This is a great benefit to the court reporter who needed to type up the transcripts, and make an accurate record. Once, the record was documented it could be distributed out of the courtroom to the different attorneys.
