The Olympus DS9000 Pro digital dictation recorder works just like a tape recorder. There is no need to learn how to use it. If you have been using an old recorder with a slide control on the side this recorder is the same. You slide the switch up to record, down to stop and back one more to rewind. Then you can slide it up to start recording again to correct a mistake in you the last couple of words just like an old recorder.
