The Voice Grabber microphone is compatible with the Martel DM246 Court room recording system, Marantz PMD661 recorders and any other brand of digital recorder that uses the 3 pin XLR cannon connector. 

The Voice Grabber has the same great pickup as the regular Conference microphones, but has an XLR plug for use with Marantz professional digital recorders. These are also used with the Federal Courtroom recorder DM-246. This version uses phantom power to power the microphone. Please make sure your recorder has phantom power available.

On the digital recorder there will often be a switch that says 48V on/off. If your recorder has this switch, then you can buy phantom powered microphones that do not use batteries.
