A few years back Sony discontinued the MDRU10 headsets, which happened to be the most popular headsets in the transcription business. The headset was designed to be a duplicate of the Sony, matching its specifications and sound quality.
This headset uses the same flat style speakers as the Sony, featuring the ultra light design for long hours of transcribing comfort.
If you liked the Sony MDRU10 headset, then you'll definitely like the 200.
This is not a perfect replacement for the Sony MDRU10. The quality of the Sony was much higher. It's a good alternative for those who got used to the style of the Sony. If you are looking for a high quality transcription headset you need a Lanier.

Not expensive and sounds good. I buy a couple of these transcription headset every 2 years. Someone in the office always loses them. The earbuds are comfortable if you are transcribing for hours on end.
