It also has a bar showing you the record levels on your mask and room microphone. The recorder records directly to an SD card. The files are in the .mp3 format left and right channels. This is perfect for your transcription software. The Sony recorder also has super built-in microphones. The recorder has 1/4 , XLR, and 3.5MM inputs for microphones.
