We have a group meeting every week at our agency and I would have to type it up. It was taking me all day to transcribe a 1-hour meeting. We bought the Ghost Writer and in our first recording was amazing. I downloaded the file in the voice recognition software and it typed up almost all of the work for automatically. The best part is that the software is on our laptop and not connected to the internet in any way. YOU DO NOT NEED A INTERNET CONNECTION TO RUN GHOST WRITER!

Life Saver for an older typist
I'm 65 years old and have done transcribing and scoping work since I was 22. As you can imagine I've got arthritis now so I've slowed down a bit. A co-worker mentioned voice recognition but I heard it wouldn't work with multiple voices. When I came across Martels system I was skeptical but hopeful. We purchased it and with help from Martel we set it up and dialed everything in. Now it does about the vast majority of the work for me, and my hands are grateful.

Can Voice Recognition Software Be Used To Transcribe Meetings?
Meeting recording and transcribing used to take up my day. I thought was not a answer to have voice recognition transcribe our meeting. Problem solved: the Ghostwriter can hear and transcriber a meeting with lots of people in the room. Simple amazing. Worth every penny.

This was the answer to typing up our board meeting minutes
I use to have to type up the meetings by hand. This was a huge problem and took me days to do one meeting. Once we got the Ghostwriter system we set it up and recorded out first meeting it typed up most of our meeting without me. I am so excited I can not even tell you how much this has helped me. The stress of typing up meetings was wearing on me. Now we just let the voice recognition recorder do all the work, and I just quickly read through it. So amazing. This was the best $1400 my agency has spent in years. I would totally recommend it to all government and private institutions. Game changer! Side note I looked for years for something like the Ghostwriter and this is the only one I could find.
