If you have had a sony mic, a sound grabber or most other conference microphones, the Conference Grabber is nearly 30 Percent more Powerful and much Smaller. We have installed a gel damping feet so we eliminated vibrations that come from the table on which the microphone sits. This also helps eliminate air conditioner noise. This microphone is Perfect for tape & Digital recorder. It also is compatible with polycom phones and video conference equipment.

How to use the Conference Microphone, 1/10/2011

The first thing you need to know is what type of digital recorder you have. I have the Olympus ds5000 dictation recorder. The conference microphone works perfect with that recorder. The voice pick up range is around 30 feet, so I can get everyone at a conference table.

I was astounded to find the information about the conference microphone on this page. I was looking for a high quality microphone to use with my Olympus digital recorder. Conference Microphone Definition: a microphone that can be hooked into a digital recorder or tape recorder that can pick up the audio voices of the people in the conference.

I have used this court reporter microphone for 10 years now with my sony tape recorder. The sound is great and crisp. This year I bought the Digital recorder for court reporters called the Court Reporter 5000 and its amazing. The court reporter recorder sound quality is 10 times better than tape.
