The sony bm246 update is available on this page. It has been replaced by the DM246 digital court room recorder. It has 4 channels of recording just like the sony bm246 but it records to a sdhc memory card. You can still use your sony court microphones and cables. The bm246 can record a maximum of 6.5 hours and the dm246 can record 32 hours for your court room. It can also be used with wireless court room microphones and equipment. This page has special bulletins and updates about the sony bm246. The DM246 has more features and you can log the audio files to a central server in your court. The judge can call up the audio files at any time in your court room. This feature wasn't available on the sony bm246 since it used tape and not digital. We now have around 6 of the DM247 court recorder and we are going to replace all of our sony bm246 with this recorder.

Sony BM-246 Court/Conference Recorder is discontinued and nobody carries it anymore, except Martel who has a replacement model the DM246 courtroom 4 channel court recording unit. Its a court logger or logging system that records in a digital audio format. The SONY BM246 TRADE IN PROGRAM has been a big factor in our switch over to digital from tape recorders. Lanier Advocate V tape based four track court/ conference recording system has been discontinued also and the only replacement is the digital DM246 courtroom conference recorder. We are glad we are out of our SONY BM-246 Court Conference Recorder Transcriber tape/cassette recorders.

I search
around for a company that has been in business at least 20 years

they're a real brick & mortar company. Check Google Maps
