I had my first HGM-1 for over five years. It worked great with my Fusion and now my Diamonte. I am buying a second one now to have as a spare. Picks up voices from long distances in courtrooms.

This microphone works great. The battery lasts a long time and is not expensive to replace at all. The audio is amazing and picks up speakers all the way at the other end of the room. I would definitely recommend this to every court reporter.

This is a great microphone. I've had other mikes before but they don't compare in sound quality or durability. The price might throw you off, but it's worth every penny. Don't settle for the cheaper imitations.

This site has the best court reporter microphone. I have been a customer for 15 years and only use Martel court reporter microphones. There is a comparison chart of court reporter microphones on this site for help. Even Eclipse recommends this court reporter microphone. The voice tracking chip help get the voices clearly so you do not get allot of background noise.

I found this Special new and information about the COURT REPORTER MICROPHONE 2 years ago. I have been a Steno machine reporter for 5 years and was having problems with my audiosync. I had tried allot of cheap so called court reporter microphones. None of them have the sound fidelity and pick up range that the Martel HGM1 COURT REPORTER MICROPHONE has. I asked around and it I found that everyone in my courtroom system was using the Martel microphone. I should have started with it in the beginning.

If you are looking for the USB court reporter microphones, the Elite HGMUSB court reporter microphone is the best. I have been a NCRA court reporter for over 20 years now and only have used Martel court reporter microphones. Court Reporter Microphone For Steno Machines and Computer also know as laptops are a rare item. The HGM1 works perfectly with my Elan steno machine and plugs right into the microphone socket on the steno machine I use in depositions. I highly recommend this special court reporter microphone.

I have read allot of information and done a number of research about a court reporter microphones. I have a Elan Mira steno machine. I tried a number of so called court reporter microphones and decided to try the Martel court reporter microphone. Wow its is superior by a factor of 10 to all the microphones I have tried. Now in depositions I can hear what people are saying under their breath. The voice quality is excellent. For the rest of my court reporting career I am going to buy the Martel court reporter microphone.

I use my court reporter microphone to record police interview room recordings depositions. I have tried other microphones but none have the voice quality of the Martel hgm1 court reporter microphone. The police interview room recording equipments is not clear enough to get an accurate record so they call on me. The court reporter microphone is perfect. The new court reporter microphone I just got from Martel is excellent. They weren't kidding about the pick up range and clarity. I swear I can hear a pin drop in my depositions. The windows 7 microphone is just what I needed with my audio sync. Its definitely the best court reporter microphone. The NCRA should be recommending this microphone to all the court reporters.

I have just bought the Elura when I needed the best court reporter microphone I could get my hands on. I have used the Martel court reporter microphone for a decade now. It has never let me down and I even hear side bars without getting up. If you are a real-time court reporter you need this microphone.
