I previously gone through two of these graphic equalizers. Since with computer upgrades, the sound quality of our dictations mostly got better, I thought I didn't need to have one of these equalizers anymore, and I gave it away to a newbie MT. Well, I was wrong, and I just now ordered another equalizer. I hope it arrives very soon. In the past, using an equalizer has sometimes made the difference between having several blanks and having none in a finished document. Thanks, Martel, for stocking this item!

This is the best $29 you can spend if you transcribe all day. I am now able to adjust the audio voice files just like my car stereo. I turn down the bass sound and I am able to hear the mens voices very clearly now. Its been the most awesome device I use.

I have been scoping for 26 years for court reporters in D.C. and Maryland, and I rely on Martel for all my transcribing equipment. I would be lost without my tape enhancer, and Martel's software and foot pedal which does away with keyboard strokes when using Audiosync has made my job much, much easier. I always look to Martel and have never been disappointed.

Works with a PC transcription kit or my tape transcriber. It a tool you have to have. Helps improve the sound for transcription with computers. Gets rid of buzzing and betters the sound quality of the audio files that are being emailed to me.
